Accessibility
Lasqueti.net aims to be usable by as many people as possible, including those using assistive technologies or with limited connectivity. This is a small volunteer site, and I do what I can within those constraints.
What I try to do
- Use semantic HTML so screen readers and keyboards can navigate the page.
- Provide sufficient colour contrast between text and background.
- Include descriptive alt text on images where relevant.
- Keep page weight low for residents with slower satellite or cellular connections.
- Avoid auto-playing media or flashing content.
Known limitations
Some older pages and embedded documents (PDFs, notices) may not be fully accessible. I address issues as I become aware of them, but this site has no dedicated accessibility team.
Feedback
If you run into an accessibility barrier on this site, let me know. I take these reports seriously and will do my best to address them. Questions or concerns: contact me
Technical standard
I aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA where feasible for a volunteer-maintained site. I do not claim full conformance.
